i have a wetbike i have rode in the mtn. lakes up here. rode it on lake Tahoe till they banned 2 strokes on the water there. i used to see my shadow on the bottom of the shallows in tahoe as i rode along. miss it. last time i rode it was three years ago.i had to put a gas cap on it,no problem and had to put new working back handles on it other than that it has given me great pleasure riding it in the canyon likes up here. what should i do with it now?

G’Day I have a 1987 Suzuki-powered Tomcat Wetbike sitting in my shed in Adelaide Australia and I can’t work out what to do with it!
I bought It a few years ago and did some research and fixed it up a bit, before taking it out 2 or 3 times. However it seems to be allergic to water!
Every time after being in the water for a relatively short period of time, it will stall and wont re-start.
My problem is no-one in this country knows what the hell they are or knows how to work on them.
So I figured I’d sell it, but again who is going to buy it, no-one knows what it is!
You guys don’t have a southern chapter here in Aussie do you? Or know of anyone here that has one or may be able to get it running properly or help me sell it or something!!!!!!!
Please help me I’m out of ideas!
Also you guys seem to know everything there is to know about Wetbikes, I am so curios you wouldn’t happen to know how many of these things were delivered/sold in Australia
or would they have been imported privately, but surely not. I can’t even find another one in this country!
AWSOME SITE!!!!!
Cheers Ben

Hey, I recently purchased 2 Silver Streak (1988) wetbikes. I have gone through them and they are now running.
I have one with a newer looking engine, its equipped with a large single carburator. They second one has the original Suzuki engine with twin carbs.
Can anyone enlighten me on the single carburated engine? I have not found information on this engine
